Cleatus 3.0 is the third design of
the iconic FOX Sports robot and mascot of FOX NFL.
The goal was to create a contemporary design with a sculpted athletic build; a versatile character with exceptional dexterity and range of movement. The character design had to instantly evoke football, and be distinctly mechanical.
Designed and built in-house at Fox Sports, Every detail of Cleatus was digitally hand-crafted. Conceived in ZBrush, built in Cinema 4D, and textured in Substance Designer and Painter.
